Joe Mattox is a Dayton, Ohio native, Kettering High School graduate, and the owner of Mattox Power Washing. He previously served seven years in the Ohio Army National Guard Veteran. During those years he spent his time as a diesel mechanic and deployed to Kuwait. Joe’s wife, Melinda, is a Cincinnati native and can occasionally be seen on job-sites working along side him. Aside from helping her husband wash, she is usually behind the scenes photographing and advertising for the business. They enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors as a family with their daughter, Lylah.
In 2022 Joe put his hard-working attitude, meticulousness, and drive for helping others into creating Mattox Power Washing. Community and family is of strong importance to us. We gladly accept cash, check and most major credit cards.
No need to be home while we are performing exterior cleaning. However, please move all vehicles from the driveway. Furniture must be moved at least 10ft away from the house. Any hanging fixtures or decor that is affixed to the house will need to be removed as well. We are dog friendly but ask that you keep all pets inside during the cleaning process. Before and after photos will be sent with your invoice.
Before the cleaning process begins we will connect our water supply hose to you home spigot.This wiki be need to be clear of any debris and in good working order.
There are several factors when determining this. Climate and location determine the growth of algae. We recommend this service to be performed every 1-3 years.
Soft washing is a low pressure technique, not much more pressure than your typical garden hose. A mix of detergents will be applied to the exterior of your home. The detergent will dwell on the surface and be washed off. This process will kill the spores that cause algae growth on your exterior surfaces. Unlike pressure washing that can damage your exterior and does not clean deep enough to kill the spores. High pressure can cause striping , etching, and damage to surfaces that can be very unsightly.
Yes we do! We spend the extra few minutes to properly care for your property. Exterior outlets are covered and taped off. Flower beds, outdoor gardens, and vegetation are rinsed prior to beginning the cleaning process. We are also fully insured.
